I am Mrs. Ghelf. This is my 7th year teaching here at Prairie View! I am so happy to be a part of this great school, and hope to make your child’s experience here as great as mine has been. 

A few things about me:

I grew up in Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!) and got my degree in education from Luther College. After college I spent a semester as a para in Carlisle, IA and then made my way back to my hometown and taught there for three years. I then moved to Wisconsin and became a part of the De Soto Area School District. 

Outside of school I love to spend time with my family. My husband, Brandon, and I have three daughters, Ellie, Kamryn, and Jadyn. I like to be outdoors as much as possible- going for walks, hunting, fishing, playing with the girls, or playing fetch with our three dogs, Hachi, Maverick, and Beau. Baking and reading are a couple other things I enjoy!

While your child is here they are a part of our school family, and I will work to create a welcoming and fun place for your child to learn and grow as a student!!
