Wisconsin families who live outside of the De Soto School District are invited to open enroll from February 1 - April 30, 2021.

Parents can access the Wisconsin DPI Open Enrollment form by clicking below. Be sure to indicate the De Soto Area School District and the De Soto Virtual School on the application form.

Complete the 7 Steps for enrolling in the De Soto Virtual School:

1—Fill in the De Soto Virtual School Interest Form on the webpage.

2—Use the Open Enrollment ­ DPI link to go to the Department of Public Instruction Webpage.

♦ Read the information about open enrollment. ♦ Complete the Open Enrollment Application online prior to April 30th.

3—Letters of Enrollment offer will be mailed from De Soto Area Schools.

4—You must accept the enrollment offer and contact for De Soto Virtual School.

5—Upon offer of placement and your acceptance, you will need to make an appointment to meet with the De Soto Virtual School coordinator at 608-648-0116. Scott Kelly for Middle and High School students or Melanie Aspenson for Elementary students.

♦ Research your options for curriculum and materials from our approved Vendor list which will be emailed

to you upon acceptance of enrollment.

♦ Complete registration papers, forms, Learning plan and contract at that appointment.

6—Upon approval of Learning Plan families will be able to create and submit curriculum material needs on order forms supplied by the De Soto Virtual School coordinator.
