It is my honor to serve as the Virtual School Coordinator. As an educator with 20 years of experience teaching Science in Middle and High Schools across Wisconsin and Alaska’s Arctic, I have always been passionate about fostering curiosity, resilience, and a love for learning in students. Throughout my career, I have worked as an at-risk teacher and mentor, ensuring that every student—no matter their background—receives the support they need to thrive. I believe in the power of education to transform lives, and I am committed to creating an environment where all children feel safe, valued, and challenged to reach their full potential. One of the things I cherish most about De Soto is its deep connection to the Mississippi River, a resource that has shaped both our community and the students we serve. My wife grew up in this district, and I have been drawn to the strength, warmth, and resilience of the environment and the people here.
