April 23: Abstract Nature Sculpture
4-23-20 Abstract Nature Sculptures
Nature Week!
Thursday, April 23rd Art Challenge
On Monday we used nature materials to make a picture. Today we’re going to look at the work of Andy Goldsworthy and see if we can make an abstract nature sculpture. Abstract means it is not a realistic picture of something. Your outdoor sculpture might be lines, patterns or shapes put together in an interesting way.
Challenge: Make an abstract sculpture with things from nature.
While you are at home you can still share your artwork with Mrs. Buchner! Here's a quick and easy way to do it:
Ask Mom or Dad to take a picture with their phone.
Text the picture to Email 1 or Email 2. Yes, you can text to an e-mail. (Of course you can also e-mail it). I will be sharing art from kids on my web site.
You can also follow my Facebook page and share there. Facebook Page
