Famous Artists Week! Tuesday, April 7 Art Challenge

Your challenge today is to draw a close-up picture of a flower, like a very famous artist from Wisconsin did. In fact, she grew up on a dairy farm near Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and being close to nature inspired her to become an artist. Her name is Georgia O'Keeffe and we will be learning about her in today's art challenge.

Challenge: Make a flower in the style of Georgia O'Keeffe

While you are at home you can still share your artwork with Mrs. Buchner! Here's a quick and easy way to do it:

  • Ask Mom or Dad to take a picture with their phone.

  • Text the picture to Email 1 or Email 2. Yes, you can text to an e-mail. (Of course you can also e-mail it). I will be sharing art from kids on my web site.
