Famous Artists Week! Wednesday, April 8 Art Challenge
Your challenge today is to draw a picture of your pet if you have one. If you don't draw an animal you would like to have. We are inspired today by artist Dean Russo who lives in New York. He does bright and colorful portraits of animals that are filled with colors and patterns. His multi-media works can be found on t-shirts, plaques and all kinds of items. He also donates money from the sale of his art to help rescue and save animals. You can also watch the short video below that shows some of his work.
Challenge: Make a pet portrait in the style of Dean Russo.
While you are at home you can still share your artwork with Mrs. Buchner! Here's a quick and easy way to do it:
Ask Mom or Dad to take a picture with their phone.
Text the picture to Email 1 or Email 2. Yes, you can text to an e-mail. (Of course you can also e-mail it). I will be sharing art from kids on my web site.
