March 26th - Kindness Cards

3-26-20 kindness cards

Thursday, March 26 Art Challenge

Your challenge today is to make a card for someone. Cards are a great way to say thank you, love you, I miss you, or even I'm sorry. You can even make a cards for someone you don't know to cheer them up. Right now nursing homes do not allow visitors and the people there might be lonely. There are "Kindness Card Collection Boxes" in front of Stoddard Elementary and De Soto High School to drop off cards to cheer people up. Mrs. Venner and Mrs. Buchner will pick up any cards left in the boxes and mail them to nursing homes to brighten their day. And don't forget to send Mrs. Buchner a picture of your card. Spread some kindness today!

Challenge: Make a card for someone.

While you are at home you can still share your artwork with Mrs. Buchner! Here's a quick and easy way to do it:

  • Ask Mom or Dad to take a picture with their phone.

  • Text the picture to Email Mrs. Buchner. Yes, you can text to an e-mail. (Of course you can also e-mail it). I will be sharing art from kids in upcoming videos.

  • You can also follow my Facebook page and share there. Facebook
