Welcome to third grade! This is my second year teaching at Prairie View. I am thankful to teach in such a warm and welcoming school and community. 

I am excited to help students learn and expand their horizons. Third grade is a big year of growth as students go from learning to read to reading to learn. In math, they explore multiplication, division, and fractions. They also work on becoming competent writers in various styles, and focus on using adjectives and adverbs in their writing. Outside of academics, third graders will learn about persevering through the tricky parts of third grade, showing kindness to others, and being thankful. 

While I am not teaching, I enjoy working on my family’s sheep farm, swimming, cooking, and gardening.
