Congratulations to our elementary Battle of the Books teams who traveled to Wilton today to compete placing 3rd (Stoddard) and 5th (PV) out of 28 teams from 13 regional schools. Battle of the Books focuses on reading skills and comprehension and is hosted by the Mississippi Valley Gifted and Talented Network. Our students have been practicing for months and both teams won a school-wide competition to advance. Thank you to Mrs. Olson for working with the students, Ms. Justin and Mrs. Buchner for making their shirts. Thank you Mrs. Hines for transport today. Go Pirates!
