Beginning in the 2025–2026 school year, the De Soto Area School District’s 4-Year-Old Kindergarten program at both Prairie View and Stoddard Elementary will move to a 5-day-per-week schedule!
This enhanced schedule gives our youngest learners more time to grow socially, emotionally, and academically through consistent, play-based learning. 🧠🎨🎶

Today, April 1, 2025 is the De Soto Area School District Operational Referendum. Your vote is very important, please remember to vote today! Polls are open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Referendum results and School Board election results will be posted on the District website as the results are received. We don't anticipate any results until after 8:30 pm. Remember to refresh your page.
De Soto Schools will be closed today, Thursday, March 20th due to the weather. There will be no Surround Care.
Join us at Stoddard school this evening at 6:30 for our final referendum presentation!
Reminder there will be a Public Referendum Informational Meeting tonight (Thur. March 6th) at 6:30 pm @De Soto Middle School/High School.
