Connie Klein, a De Soto High School alumna and the 2009 Female Athlete of the Year, graduated in 2009. She excelled in both basketball and softball, helping her team reach the state softball tournament in 2007. She also holds the home run record for De Soto Softball. After high school, Connie continued her basketball career at Western Technical College. Currently, she serves as the Assistant Girls Basketball Coach and Head Softball Coach at De Soto.

Connie is married to Tom, and together they have two children, Ryker and Asher. They reside in De Soto. Connie is deeply committed to the sports she coaches and plans to continue as a long-term coach within the district. She believes that fostering confidence and sportsmanship in her athletes is key to their success.
