A little fun dissection before break-Biology students dissected termites to observe the symbiotic relationship between the termites and the critters found in their intestines.  

Each week, we're featuring a staff member to help you get to know the amazing people who make De Soto High School such a special place. This week is Ericka Arenz, 4th Grade Teacher at Prairie View.

🏴‍☠️ Ericka teaches 4th Grade at Prairie View.
🏴‍☠️ She has been teaching for 7 years and has been part of the district for 4 years.
🏴‍☠️She grew up in De Soto.
🏴‍☠️She and her husband Jake live in the Romance area with their three kids, Henry, Benny, and Annie. They have dogs, a cat, chickens, and bunnies.
🏴‍☠️She enjoys being with her family, being outside, baking, and reading.
🏴‍☠️Fun Fact: She has been to over 50 concerts and can't wait to go to more.
🏴‍☠️When asked what excites her most about De Soto Ericka says, "I enjoy the people I work with, the students are great to be around, we have so many opportunities here, and I love teaching at Prairie View.❤️💛PV"
