Each week, we're featuring a staff member to help you get to know the amazing people who make De Soto school district such a special place.
This week, Sarah Bay, Second Grade Teacher at Stoddard
🏴☠️ She has been teaching here since 2018.
🏴☠️ She is originally from Brodhead, WI, a small town south of Madison. I went to school at UWL and stayed in the area.
🏴☠️ She lives in Onalaska with her husband, two daughters (3 and 1), and dog named Griffey.
🏴☠️ She loves reading and spending time with her immediate and extended family.
🏴☠️ A fun fact about Sarah, her aunt opened a school in Spain and teaches English to students (and adults) of all ages. She spent part of a summer there working at her school.
🏴☠️When asked what excites her most about De Soto Sarah says, " I appreciate the small community and how you are able to build relationships with students and continue to see them grow each year. I am grateful for close relationships with staff and community members!”
